Lux Windows offers an industry-leading limited LIFETIME WARRANTY from the date of manufacture. Labour charges apply after TWO (2) YEARS from the date of manufacture. This LIFETIME WARRANTY is expressly for the lifetime of the original customer, for so long as the customer owns their home, to a maximum of twenty-five (25) years; or to a maximum of twenty-five (25) years from the date of manufacture if the home is no longer owned by the original customer, and this LIFETIME WARRANTY has been transferred to a new owner. The LIFETIME WARRANTY is only applicable to certain products or services as set out in Lux’s Comprehensive General Warranty.
INSTALLATION BY LUX WINDOWS & GLASS CERTIFIED INSTALLERS
When windows and doors are installed by Lux Certified Installers, a limited ten (10) year warranty is provided from the date of installation against defects in workmanship.
EXTERIOR METAL CLADDING
Lux Windows will provide a limited lifetime warranty from the date of manufacture against flaking, peeling or blistering of the surface finish.
PVC (VINYL) EXTRUSIONS
Lux Windows will provide a limited lifetime warranty from the date of manufacture against defects in materials and workmanship.
INSULATING GLASS WARRANTY
Lux Windows provides a limited lifetime warranty against seal failure on sealed units purchased after December 7, 2010. Ten (10) years for sealed units purchased prior to December 6, 2010. Installation charges apply after two (2) years from the date of manufacture. One (1) year limited warranty from date of manufacture for spontaneous glass breakage due to defects in workmanship. Rattling of in-glass decorative pieces, such as blinds or grills, is not deemed a defect.
DECORATIVE DOORLITES
Lux Windows will provide a limited ten (10) year warranty on all decorative inserts including internal blinds against visual defects, workmanship, and seal failure. Installation charges apply after two (2) years from the date of manufacture.
FIBERGLASS DOORS
Lux Windows will provide a limited ten (10) year warranty against warping or delamination for our fiberglass doors. This coverage is valid from the date of purchase, provided the door has not been altered in size.
INTERIOR & EXTERIOR WOOD COMPONENTS
Due to natural variations in wood, Lux Windows does not warranty wood components that are exposed to the elements—such as those on the exterior of a home—in either their natural, stained or painted condition.
OPERATING HARDWARE
Lux Windows provides a limited lifetime warranty on all operating hardware. All Truth Hardware products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.
DISCONTINUANCE OR MODIFICATION OF PRODUCTS
Lux Windows reserves the right to discontinue or modify products or colours of products without notice.
