Custom Obscure Glass Patterns
Obscure glass is textured glass used for privacy, light diffusion, or decorative effect in both windows and doors.
Energy Saving Low E2 (272) Glass
There are many Low E glass types available to suit virtually any climate; Lux Windows uses a superior product most beneficial when considering energy efficiency to Canadian weather. Low E2 (272) is a unique, microscopically thin coating (not affecting clarity) containing transparent layers of metal and metal oxides.

Super Spacer® Structural Foam
Many windows are manufactured using metal spacers between the panes of glass. Lux adds Super Spacer, an advanced foam spacer system, to its windows. Low E2 (272) glass combined with Super Spacer hot melt butyl backing provides the ultimate performance and durability of the total window system.
Super Spacer:
- Insulates more than 950 times better than aluminum and 85 times better than stainless steel
- Foam dramatically reduces condensation
- Butyl provides a guaranteed long-term seal and structural stability

Argon Gas
As a standard, the space between the panes of glass in a Low E2 (272) window are filled with argon gas – a clear, harmless gas that provides maximum insulating capabilities.
