Lux Windows uses treated natural clear Hem/Fir wood in the manufacturing of our frames and sashes. Wood offers the benefit of providing natural insulating capabilities. One notable advantage is that there are no finger joints giving a more flowing appearance.

Aluminum Clad Exterior
A maintenance free exterior is available in virtually any custom colour or can be chosen from our standard colours. Combined with the beauty of a solid hem/fir interior, aluminum clad windows offer true versatility in design. Extruded aluminum profiles provide a more durable exterior finish and eliminate the need for painting. Aluminum brickmould options include 5/8", 1" and 2"; which all incorporate an integral nailing flange eliminating the risk of water and air infiltration between the nailing flange and the brickmould.

Wood Exterior
Windows can be custom built to fit any wall thickness. Both interiors and exteriors can be stained or painted to create the design effect best suited to your home. A variety of brickmoulds, from contemporary to traditional, are available to suit any architectural design.
