Casement and awning windows offer unlimited design possibilities with options to use by themselves, attach side-by-side, or combine with a picture or fixed sash; providing whatever architectural style is desired. Casements and awnings are also among the most energy efficient venting window due mainly to a compression foam seal.
Structural stability is achieved through mortise and tenon joinery on the sash and rabbet joints on the frame. The sill of the casement and awning window (where water damage would normally occur) is protected by a heavy walled PVC liner.
